The following are 9 robots designed for child play that caught our attention, in no particular order. If you haven't yet, make sure to look at the newly re-released blast from the past from Sony. 1. Zoomer Dino First on our list is a strong contender. Zoomer Dino is the perfect little robot for the avid dinosaur enthusiast in your life. Although intended for children we can't see any reason 'older' children wouldn't enjoy it. You can train it to dance, chomp, roar and chase you around. Plus it can roam around, spin, roar, and goes berserk if you pull its tail. If you're not too keen on Zoomer Dino's design he has many other friends to choose from. 2. Wonder Workshop Dash (or dot) Robot If your little ones have a penchant for Lego or Lego Technic systems they are bound to love this little robot. From coding to stop-motion animation videos to sewing, the maker movement is becoming more and more popular with kids and adults. Maker culture is a movement that embraces do-it-yourself tinkering with electronics and physical objects—it focuses on learning and trying out new practical skills, building a community of resources and experimenting. Robotics and electronics are two hallmarks of the maker movement (electronics explores using electronic circuits, while robotics combines circuits, movement and sometimes software to create a machine or robot).
